What to do on a snow day?

School was cancelled on Wednesday due to snow.  It was the first snow day of the year. The kids were super excited to stay in their PJs all day.  They played very nicely together.  And eventually, they made up this soon to be released song titled "Surfing on a Bad Puppy".  What do you think?  Are they future recording stars?

9 Years Ago Today...

9 Years ago today, this little lady entered the world... Kaylee Brooke Workman.... so tiny, so sweet... and our lives have not been the same ever since.

and she inspired one of my very first scrapbook pages.  (It is amazing how much ones style can change over the years, isn't it?)

We have LOVED watching her grow up over the years.  Here she is holding Brenna for the very first time.

And at her 4th Birthday Party.

Enjoy the Moment...

I saw this on another blog today and found it to be very though provoking.  If you are feeling a bit frazzled by your day to day activities, take a minute and check out this video.  It will make you think....

A Nice Quiet Weekend....

Well we have no real plans this weekend.  Andrew had hockey this AM, and we are done for scheduled events.  Todd hung some pictures for me in the craft room and the hall today. so now I am trying to work on organizing the craft room!  This is a HUGE project but this is the perfect weekend to do it.

While surfing the net today looking for new CHA releases, I happened upon this great giveaway on the Creative Cafe blog.  They are giving away a ton of new stuff.  You can check it out here .

Have a great weekend.

At least it's pretty...

Well the snow continues to stick around. I have to admit that it actually is pretty. It has not melted much so it is still sticking in the trees, etc. I took my camera out with me yesterday to catch some snow covered pictures. Enjoy!

What? More Snow?

I was very proud of myself yesterday. Since Todd is out of town, I had to shovel the driveway twice. There was only about 2 inches each time, but I did it myself. So, when I went to bed last night, here is what our nice clean driveway looked like.

And this is what my yard looked like this morning. 5 more inches fell as we slept last night. I did not even know that we were getting more snow. It is pretty.

They plowed during the night, which was nice, except for the fact that they dumped a HUGE mound of snow at the end of my driveway. So, I headed out this AM, and after almost an hour, this is what my driveway looked like:

It is not that pretty, but it is functional.  (And boy are my arms tired!) As long as I can get out of the house today.  I am OK.

So, this is what I am thinking of asking for Christmas next year...

Welcome to Massachusetts!

Have a great day!

Today is my Big Brother's Birthday. In honor of this day, I thought I would post a few pictures of him. Kind of like a walk down memory lane...
